Project Description

Hookup Baits is a manufacturer and designer of specialty fishing jigs and lures. All products are designed, and manufactured in San Diego, CA. They allow the fisherman to match the size and type of bait fish the game fish are feeding on. Unlike any jig design on the market, Hookup Baits utilizes realistic eyes, shape, color and action, which significantly increases the number of bites and fish caught. The jigs can be casted, jigged vertically, and trolled.

When we first started with this company, they were much smaller in size. Their website was hard to navigate and some of the functionality was off. Hookup Baits brought us on to update the website aesthetically as well as functionality. Among many new features and implementations we were able to add in a testimonial column, instagram hashtag feed, and more:

Recently we helped Hookup Baits simplify their website. The retail location directory task was one of many we were able to implement for HUB. Before, there were not many retail stores, so we were able to completely create this one from the ground up. We needed to implement a way to make it easier for customers, fans, partners, etc. to access the locations where Hookup Baits were being sold, depending on the area in California. Located at the top of all of the retail locations is an organizer based off of the counties HUB can be found in. For example, if you’re in San Diego County fishing over the weekend, you can click on the San Diego County option at the top to narrow down all of the retail locations across that specific county. Pretty convenient, huh?
