Project Description
Every Man Jack is a personal brand / pastor’s blog website that is dedicated to getting to know Pastor Jack Hawkins of Canyon Springs Church. Recently, we designed this new website website to better reflect all the things that Pastor Jack does with the church and his community. The website features a podcast player, a blog and big/bold photos which we also took during a scheduled photo shoot.
Jack is a good friend of the owner of MITO, Blake Miller, so it was a no-brainer that we would help! When Jack came to us, he was looking for a better, more efficient, and easier way to display all of the projects, sermons, and discussions he is a part of…all in one place! MITO was able to organize each section of the website so that anyone looking for information about Jack Hawkins would have an incredibly easy time finding it. Website Photos / Photography
Because this is essentially a personal brand website, having “personal” photos is key. So we set out to do a photo shoot and our very own Blake Miller took most of the pictures found on this site during a photo shoot at Old Poway Park here in San Diego.
Podcast Feed & Display
Pastor Jack publishes a popular weekly podcast “10 Steps Further” and one of the goals of the website was to provide a podcast feed / player so users could listen and interact with the podcast without leaving the site. Having the podcasts easily accessible is the whole point so visitors do not have to change over to the podcast outlet (Libsyn) in order to find the episodes. Convenience is key!
