Telegraph Hill Partners (THP) is a venture capital firm dedicated to helping life science, medical device and healthcare companies achieve their growth objectives. Recently, we redesigned their website to better reflect THP as the great, growing company they are. And they were thrilled!
When THP came to us, they were looking for a better, more efficient, and easier way to display and navigate all of the past and current companies they have partnered with. TH Partners invests their time into high-quality clients, so the website needed to reflect that as well. MITO was able to organize each client alphabetically along with the company logo and description. Along with the portfolio display (more details below), we also decided to keep the navigation menu on the left hand side of the website for a unique approach.
WordPress Feature: Portfolio Display
To go into depth a bit more about this feature, THP wanted to make sure that every single client was mentioned and given a logo and bio section. Each company on the portfolio page also links back to the actual company website. It also features a “Status” filter which allows the user to filter down the display of companies by a status that is set in the back end.

This website is built on WordPress which is an open-source Content Management System (CMS) framework. WordPress is hugely popular due to its ease of use, wide range of capabilities, customizable architecture and a large pool of designers and developers. WordPress powers over 60% of all CMS type of websites, over 30% of the total internet and is backed by a pool of over 100,000 designers and developers.
The extremely wide-range of plugins and add-ons make the site easy to upgrade and expand in regards to functionality and content. Because of its popularity, the architects of WordPress keep the overall platform and architecture easy for webmasters and website owners to update content on the site.
